RSD DEPARTURE
 divider Jeff has left RubberSideDown to explore other avenues. He has had a great time playing with Paul, Kevin, and Mike and wish them the best. Over the past three years Jeff has dedicated a lot of time, effort, and love to this project resulting in an album, many shows big and small, and some of the best friends he's ever had. Jeff appreciates the opportunity and looks forward to the future.

RIOT ACT RESURRECTION
 divider Pearl Jam tribute Riot Act has been resurrected to perform at San Francisco's Red Devil lounge for a show benefitting Haiti. This band features Ryan Lendt (Ryan Lendt and the Leavers) on vocals, Vince Lay (GoKart Mozart) on guitar, Dominic Henri (Tyler Jakes and the Bootleggers), Jeff Kalmbach (RubberSideDown) on guitar, and Andrew Griffin (Felsen) on drums. This will be the first proper performance of this band and an event not to be missed.

NAMM SHOW

ELECTRIC TRAX MIXING COMPLETE
 divider Jeff has completed mixing 155 audio tracks for his book Electric Trax with engineer Brian Chamberlin at Red House Studios. The book is based around simplified versions of Jeff's signature rock riffs which are expertly accompanied by drummer Jeff Campitelli (Joe Satriani). The book is in final editing and due out any minute..

STUNG DEPARTURE
 divider Jeff has parted ways with Stung. In a year as guitarist for the Police tribute band, Jeff has taken his approximation of Andy Summers all over the San Francisco area, L.A. and abroad to the Dominican Republic. All parties involved are still friends and he wishes Brooks and the band the best of luck.

 divider During a trip to perform an opening slot for Bo Bice in San Bernadino, RubberSideDown's rental car had a blow out on the I-5. When the band asked for reimbursement, the rental agency gave them the runaround. In stepped Sue Kwon and CBS news:
